Event Horizon LLC, doing business as TravelQuest International, and hereafter referred to as TravelQuest, its agents (collective) and sponsoring organizations act only as an independent contractor for the suppliers of transportation, accommodations, food and other goods and services provided to the participant. All arrangements to transport, accommodate and other services are made upon the express condition that TravelQuest and its agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damage, injury, or loss to person or property, accident, delay or irregularity of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond our control, including without limitation, any act or negligence or breach of contract of any third party, such as an airline, cruise line, train, hotel, restaurant, ground handler, etc., who is to or does supply any goods or services to the tour.
Without limiting the foregoing, TravelQuest and its agents are not responsible for any loss or expenses due to delay or change in schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, quarantine, theft, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond our control.
TravelQuest reserves the right to change the itinerary of this tour without prior notice. However, if TravelQuest must cancel for reasons beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, disease, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism or war, TravelQuest’s liability shall be limited to a refund of only those portions of the tour cost TravelQuest is able to recover from suppliers.
TravelQuest may increase the tour cost if there are cost increases. If any tour member chooses not to participate in any included activity or meal, there will be no refund for that unused portion of the tour. Interest Free Payment Plan (IFPP)
Our Interest Free Payment Plan (IFPP) provides a convenient way to spread out the cost of your TravelQuest journey in a series of monthly payments.
When you make your reservation, you’ll be given the option of joining our IFPP program. If you agree, you will provide TravelQuest with a credit card number to be kept on file, and you will authorize it to be charged a defined amount on a monthly basis by TravelQuest. These transactions will occur the first business day of each month, starting with the month following your initial deposit, and ending on the tour’s final payment due date. This means, the earlier you reserve your trip in advance of the final payment due date, the lower your monthly payment will be.
Example: After making the required initial deposit payment (beginning the month after initial payment) for a $2400 trip balance, on a tour that is booked 12 months prior to the final payment due date, will be $200 per month. However, if you reserve that same trip only 6 months prior to the final payment due date, your monthly IFPP payment will be $400 per month.
Each month, after your credit card has been automatically charged, TravelQuest will email you an updated invoice reflecting the monthly payment.
If, at any time, you wish to terminate your participation in our IFPP program, simply notify us in writing by email or letter, and we will terminate the arrangement and revert your reservation to the tour’s standard payment terms.
If, for any reason, a monthly charge fails to process according to the terms of this IFPP, TravelQuest will immediately notify you by email. Travelers must then remit payment to TravelQuest within five (5) business days of notification. TravelQuest reserves the right to cancel the IFPP program at any time, especially if payments are not made according to the terms of the IFPP.
All payment and cancellation terms, as stated in each tour’s web brochure, apply to those participating in our IFPP. Please note that the IFPP program does not automatically extend to each new tour reservation; you must re-enroll with each new booking.
In order to enroll in IFPP you must agree to the following Terms and Conditions: Your initial trip deposit payment will be charged at the time of booking. You will then be contacted by email with your monthly payment amount and payment schedule. Upon review, you will then authorize TravelQuest to charge your credit card number on file per the dates agreed upon, through to the final payment due date.
