2014 Expedition to Antarctica Memory Book

What do a small school in northern Uganda, an airstrip on the eastern shore of Kenya’s famous Lake Turkana, an ocean spot hundreds of miles off the coast of Sierra Leone, and a site in Ethiopia just north of the Kenyan border all have in common? 2011 Expedition to Antarctica and the South Pole

In January 2011, twelve TravelQuest travelers flew to Union Glacier in Antarctica for a one-week trip. They camped on the ice, visited the South Pole, and searched for meteorites. Eclipse 2009 Commemorative Book

In July 2009, more than 500 TravelQuest travelers experienced the longest total eclipse of the Sun in this century. In the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin chased a hole in the clouds as totality neared. In Shanghai, a last-minute shift in the observing site was made in an attempt to escape bad weather.
